p.g. 58-154

The reason I decided to draw this scene is because this is very important in the following chapters. When Jonas see's that his father is killing an innocent child, Jonas is outraged and disgusted with his father. This causes the Giver and Jonas come up with a plan to change the community. There plant is to have Jonas leave the community and the longer he is away, the more memories the people back at the community will be receiving the memories Janas once had. Although this will cause people great agony and pain, it will give the people feelings of compassion, love, and happiness. All of this comes out of this one scene.

This part made me really upset! It's a great drawing, I just didn't like that part. You drew it the way I visualized the scene as I was reading this chapter. You wrote a great summary. Amazing blog post!
